Peace of Mind

Toyota cars offer peace of mind. First, there's the legendary durability and high resale values. Next, there's the fact that 90 percent of all Toyotas sold within the last ten years are still driving today. Next, Toyota has nine cars and SUVs on the Top Safety Pick list compiled by the crash testers at the Institute for Highway Safety. Even better, fifteen editions got all five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Safety Sense

Where other automakers make offers, Toyota makes it standard. Safety Sense is on the majority of vehicles in the line-up. This means that you get an autobrake to supplement pedestrian detection and a forward collision warning. A lane assist supplements the lane warning. Adaptive cruise control helps busy drivers even when traffic is slow, stop, and go. Adaptive high beams regulate the light, leaving drivers with less stress at night. Toyota Tundras and Tacomas are the only trucks with eight airbags and the only trucks with standard crash avoidance features. Many rival trucks don't even offer all of these systems. In another example, the Sienna minivan is the only one in its class to offer the convenience of all-wheel drive.

Efficiency and Performance

Toyota has made efficiency a priority. This may make you think of its groundbreaking Prius or its latest plug-in hybrids. However, the efficiency cuts across all styles and engine types. Toyota has made it possible to enjoy real performance and still keep fuel costs low. The sporty RAV4, three-row Highlander, and Sienna minivan are all family haulers with an eye on the family budget. For 2018, Camrys added about 25 horsepower while improving gas mileage. The sedan now leads its class in base engine power.

Style and Choice

The automaker is also focused on choice. There's a new Corolla iM hatchback to complement the Corolla sedan and a Yaris iA sedan to complement the Yaris hatchback. Shoppers have five choices within the Prius line-up, and they can also opt for hybrids of the Camry, Avalon, RAV4 or Highlander. Families have great choices that range from the roomy Corolla to the enormous Sequoia. There are five three-row choices, giving families a broad range of pricing options. Daily commuters may want the brand new Toyota C-HR, a unique urban crossover ready to make life more interesting. Adventurers will look to the 4Runner or TRD models of the trucks and crossovers.
